Early Life & Education
Ade Joe began his education at Herbert Macaulay Primary School before attending Lagos City College, Sabo, Yaba. He went on to earn an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration and Management, completing his industrial attachment with African Petroleum (AP) Plc in Marina, Lagos, before earning a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management from Yaba College of Technology.
That foundation in business and administration would later underpin a career that spanned continents — from Lagos to London, and eventually into public life.
Professional Career
Ade Joe's professional career began briefly with PZ Nigeria Plc before he relocated to the United Kingdom, where he worked across several industries before establishing himself within London's transport and construction sectors.
Coordinated health and safety, workforce, and construction operations across major rail refurbishment and replacement projects — including the redevelopment of St Pancras International and the rebuilding of King's Cross Station.
Earned certifications spanning construction safety, railway operations, confined space rescue, fire safety, GDPR, cyber security, and emergency response, among others.
Entrepreneurship & Vision
In 2007, while still living in the UK, Ade Joe developed a vision that would shape the rest of his life: to build an entirely new city in Nigeria, rather than another conventional housing estate. That vision led him to establish Downtown New Homes in the UK, before incorporating Downtown New Homes Nigeria Limited with an authorised share capital of ₦30 million. He reached out to hundreds of developers, investors, and construction companies across the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East, inviting partnerships to help address Nigeria's enormous housing deficit — building integrated communities where housing, schools, healthcare, transport, employment, and public services would exist together.
The Call To Leadership
Ade Joe never originally planned to become a politician. For years, he preferred contributing ideas and policy proposals from outside government — on housing, employment, infrastructure, security, and governance. Over time, he became convinced that meaningful transformation requires leaders willing to implement bold ideas, not just discuss them. He joined the National Rescue Movement (NRM), drawn to its commitment to reform, humility, and renewal.

Present Day
Despite early setbacks — including the proposed Ogun State joint venture, which ended following the passing of one of its principal representatives — Ade Joe kept working in property development, land acquisition, consultancy, and construction, convinced that every delay was preparation for a greater opportunity.
That same conviction now drives this campaign for Governor: a belief that Nigeria has the talent, resources, and potential to lead if governed with integrity, competence, accountability, and long-term planning.
