Ademola Joseph Onigbokun brings more than two decades of professional experience across infrastructure, construction, retail, transport and project delivery in the United Kingdom.
His professional journey has included working on major infrastructure projects in London, including experience with Transport for London and the wider construction and transport environment. These experiences have given him a practical understanding of how ambitious plans are transformed into functioning infrastructure through proper planning, disciplined execution, accountability and teamwork.
Today, he is bringing that experience into public service, not by presenting ideas as accomplishments, but by putting forward a clear vision for what Nigeria can become.
His proposals for Nigeria, including new regional cities, social housing, job creation, infrastructure development, human capital investment and economic reform, are ambitious plans for the future. They are not presented as projects that have already been delivered. They represent his belief that Nigeria can move beyond managing problems and begin deliberately designing the future it deserves.
As a candidate for Governor of Lagos State, Ademola Joseph Onigbokun believes leadership should be measured not by promises or political connections, but by the ability to develop practical plans, mobilise people and resources, and deliver measurable results.

Early Life & Education
Ademola Joseph Onigbokun began his education at Herbert Macaulay Primary School before attending Lagos City College, Sabo, Yaba. He went on to earn an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration and Management from Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, completing his industrial attachment with African Petroleum (AP) Plc in Marina, Lagos. He subsequently pursued further studies in Business Administration and Management at Yaba College of Technology, where he studied towards a Higher National Diploma (HND).
That foundation in business and administration would later provide the grounding for a professional journey spanning Lagos and London, and eventually into public service and political leadership.

A Career Built Around Infrastructure, Housing and Opportunity
Before entering politics, Ademola Joseph Onigbokun built his career in the world of infrastructure, construction, transport and housing. From working in the demanding environment of London's underground rail network to developing housing initiatives in the United Kingdom and Nigeria, his professional journey has been shaped by a simple belief: when we build the right environment, we create opportunities for people to build better lives.
Lead Site Person In Charge: Worked with Transport for London, gaining practical experience within London's transport environment and developing an understanding of the operational, safety and customer-service focused requirements of one of the world's major urban transport systems. Worked in a site leadership capacity on London Underground infrastructure and station refurbishment activities, coordinating site operations, safety requirements and construction activities. His professional experience included involvement in major London infrastructure environments, including King's Cross and St Pancras International Station.
Founded Downtown New Homes, establishing a housing and property development venture focused on new homes, land acquisition and development.
Established the Nigerian arm of Downtown New Homes, with a long-term interest in housing development and the potential for planned urban growth in Nigeria. Pursued a proposed joint venture involving approximately 10,000 hectares of land in Ogun State, with the ambition of developing one of Nigeria's largest planned housing projects.
Today, he is currently on a career break to dedicate himself to his political ambitions and public service aspirations. Ademola Joseph Onigbokun joined the National Rescue Movement (NRM) and launched this campaign with a vision for a better Nigeria, bringing the lessons gained from more than two decades of professional experience into public life.
His proposed policies for Lagos and Nigeria, including housing, new cities, infrastructure, employment and human capital development, and a Living Wage Support programme, are visions and proposals for the future, not claims of projects already delivered.
His ambition is to bring the same principles that underpin successful projects — planning, accountability, coordination, discipline and execution — into government.
The Call To Leadership
Ademola Joseph Onigbokun never originally planned to become a politician. For years, he preferred contributing ideas and policy proposals from outside government — on housing, employment, infrastructure, security, and governance. Over time, he became convinced that meaningful transformation requires leaders willing to implement bold ideas, not just discuss them. He joined the National Rescue Movement (NRM), drawn to its commitment to reform, humility, and renewal.

Present Day
The journey has not been without setbacks. One significant opportunity was a proposed joint venture in Ogun State, which ultimately came to an end following the passing of one of its principal representatives. Rather than allowing this setback to end the vision, Ademola Joseph Onigbokun continued to build his experience in property development, land acquisition, consultancy, and construction — convinced that setbacks are not necessarily failures; sometimes, they are preparation for a greater opportunity.
Today, that same conviction has taken him into public service and drives his campaign for Governor. He believes that Lagos, and Nigeria more broadly, possesses the human talent, natural resources, entrepreneurial spirit, and economic potential required to achieve extraordinary progress — and that what is needed is leadership that combines integrity with competence, accountability with transparency, and ambition with disciplined long-term planning.
